What a boring and devastating week it was last week..

hahaha..

but let's keep ur eye on the gud things tht came out of it..

So last wednesday.. i was extremely bored with nothing to do since now tht i've finished my work and other things... I was also out of new tv series dvd to watch..

SO i decided to buy DVD TV Series box set tht i've Nva Watched B4..

I Bought...
LOST DVD BOX SET- Season 1 - 3

N i managed to finish wathcing it all by last nyte...

So congratulations to me!
It's kinda pathetic and a waste of time..
but i seriously didn't have any thing better to do last week..
I gotta say.. after watching all the available seasons of LOST.. It was fun!!!

I remember saying to my friends a long time ago tht i'm never goin to watch LOST coz it seems kinda boring n not my type of series to watch..
Well i guess i bite my own words~ hahaha

SO today.. filled with excitements and curiousity to know what happened after the last episode on Lost the 3rd season i went to CHONG HOCK to buy the season 4 episode 1-8.. N i'll be watching it as soon as i finish writing this..

Owh tht reminds me.. I also bought PSYCH the 2nd season.. Been waiting for this DVD to be released for a while now..!!!!

Pussycat Dolls Present:

Girlicious

It is a talent based show, in which young aspiring female singers/dancers compete in order to claim their spots to become the group "Girlicious". Girlicious is the creation of Robin Antin, creator of The Pussycat Dolls, who in the first season was searching for The Next Doll, but is now searching for an entirely new pop group by the name Girlicious. Girlicious, unlike the Pussycat Dolls, will be a more urbanized all female trio. This is the format for the second season of the Pussycat Dolls Present series, focusing mostly on female dancers/singers, looking for fame in the music industry. This season will features 15 talented young women competing for the 3 slots open.

The contestants, as named by producers, are:

Alexis Pelekanos, Carrie Jones, Cassandra Porter, Charlotte Benesch, Charlye Nichols, Chrystina Sayers, Ilisa Juried, Jamie Ruiz, Jenna Artzer, Keisha Henry, Kristin Vlaze, Megan Dupre, Natalie Mejia, Nichole Cordova and Tiffanie Anderson. As for Girlicious the group, that album is nearly done, and a single will be released immediately following the TV show's April 23 finale.

Well.. in the end there's suppose to be 3 girls left to fill the spot to be GIRLICIOUS..

But rumours say tht there's a fourt spot opened tht're supposedly announced at the finale.. hmm?

~ CONGKAK? Wanna play?~

Yesterdat went to Qiulap Mall Cineplex to watch
CONGKAK
with Emul, Adek, Nurul & Rai...

It was scary oryte.. but not as scary as "Jangan Pandang Belakang".. (for me)

The movie was a bit corny .. hahaha
I thought this movie wud haunt my mind for at least a week.. but hey.. I'm doing good.. hahaha
Len x bleh lyt malam kan mul? hahhaa

But we had alot of fun in the cinema.. haha comedic anticipation and screaming like crazy..

Some of the action were:

*Nurul was covering her face with popcorn bucket.. hahaha Rai was covering herself with her jacket.. Adek and Emul we covering themselves with their hands and ducking down the chairs..

Selepas kejayaan filem Jangan Pandang Belakang yang membuat kutipan RM 7.5 juta, paling banyak dalam sejarah filem Malaysia. Sekali lagi MIG akan melakar satu lagi sejarah apabila filem terbitan ke 23, Congkak, akan ditayangkan secara serentak di 70 buah pawagam di Malaysia, pembukaan filem Melayu terbesar dalam sejarah perfileman bermula dari Jalan Ampas di Singapura. Filem yang diadun dengan sistem bunyi Dolby Digital Surround EX yang setaraf dengan filem-filem keluaran Hollywood pastinya akan memberikan satu impak dan kesan yang cukup mendalam kepada peminat-peminat filem seram tanahair.
Filem Congkak menerima arahan dari pihak Lembaga Penapisan Filem (LPF) yang tidak mengalakkan pesakit jantung, darah tinggi serta ibu-ibu mengandung dari menonton filem ini, memang ada kebenarannya. Congkak telah dicipta untuk menakluki minda dan perasaan peminat filem seram tanahair. Setiap babak yang dihasilkan cukup mendebarkan dan pasti membuatkan anda tidak senang duduk, ini kerana dari ’shoot’ kamera, sistem bunyi yang mengkagumkan dan jalan cerita yang cukup mendebarkan, ianya akan menjadi filem seram ‘blockbuster’ untuk tahun 2008.
Secara keseluruhan, Congkak memaparkan realiti kehidupan dan budaya ‘makhluk halus’ dan ‘penunggu’ yang telah wujud dalam masyarakat nusantara selama ini. Tahniah diucapkan kepada tenaga produksi, serta pengarah filem ini, Ahmad Idham dan skrip oleh Pierre Andre, yang telah membuat ‘kerja rumah’ bagi memastikan ketepatan dan realiti sebenar bagaimana dunia perubatan Melayu.
Dari sudut teknik pengambaran, Congkak telah memberikan satu perspektif baru serta telah menetapkan satu standard baru filem Malaysia, di mana mutu teknikal yang dihasilkan cukup berkualiti. Selain dari itu, Congkak memaparkan sinematografi yang cukup bagus, menarik dan pasti membuat sesiapa tertawan.
Walaupun dari pandangan beberapa pengkritik, jalan cerita Congkak agak biasa, tapi itulah sebenarnya realiti kehidupan. Jika mahu mencari kelainan, adakah sesuai jika ingin membuat kisah seram di Stesyen Angkasa Lepas Antarabangsa (ISS)? Jadi persoalan mengenai jalan cerita yang agak biasa tidak menjadi masalah, selagi penyampaian jalan cerita dan mesej yang ingin disampaikan dapat diterima oleh penonton.
Dari sudut lakonan, penghayatan watak serta impresi wajah memang wajar diberi pujian. Setiap pelakon telah menjiwai watak mereka. Pujian diberikan kepada dua pelakon cilik iaitu Erin Malek serta Erynne Erynna yang berjaya memberi nafas kepada Congkak.
Jika sebelum ini, cerita-cerita seram di nusantara mengambil contoh watak dan karektor hantu berpandukan kepada filem seram dari Hong Kong, tetapi bagi Congkak, nilai dan watak makhluk halus atau penunggu itu sendiri terhasil secara unik dari karektor yang telah wujud melalui lisan dari zaman nenek moyang kita dahulu. Dengan penunggu yang berupa menjadi seorang wanita tua yang cukup hodoh serta suka kepada kanak-kanak, serta makhluk ‘lintasan’ yang akan menguasai sesiapa sahaja yang melalui kawasan mereka, menjadikan watak ‘hantu’ dalam filem Congkak sesuatu yang unik.
Selain dari itu, Congkak menonjolkan nilai-nilai kekeluargaan serta konflik yang perlu dihadapi bersama-sama. Inilah sesuatu yang cukup menarik mengenai Congkak, walaupun filem seram tetapi nilai kekeluarga yang masih dipegang teguh oleh masyarakat nusantara tidak pernah diketepikan.
Namun, di atas garis panduan yang telah ditetapkan oleh LPF dalam produksi tanahair menghasilkan filem seram tempatan. Beberapa babak yang cukup menyeramkan terpaksa dibuat ianya sekadar mimpi. Tetapi ianya tidak mencacatkan garis cerita tetapi ianya menjadikan Congkak lebih suspen dan dramatik. Filem berdurasi sekitar 90 minit ini cukup mencabar jiwa. Selama menonton filem ini, penonton tidak akan merasai betapa cepat masa berlalu.
Selain dari tayangan di Malaysia, Congkak juga telah ditempah untuk tontonan di negara Filipina, Singapura, Indonesia serta Thailand. Namun yang pasti Congkak telah menetapkan satu tahap sendiri untuk pengiat seni tanahair bagi menyaingi atau sekurang-kurangnya setaraf dengan filem ini.
Congkak merupakan filem seram yang cukup bersedia membawa perasaan penonton bersama-sama, dalam mengikuti pengembaraan yang cukup realistik dan menakutkan. Bagi mereka yang inginkan kelainan, atau mereka yang cukup mengemari filem genre seram dan suspen, Congkak menjadi jawapannya

~ Labour Force Survey ~

I am one of the chosen 10 out of 50 applicants in Tutong to Participate in

Brunei JPKE’s Labour Force Survey

as a Survey Officer… not only that I was also chosen to do house numbering.. I know it’s not much but hey.. It’s good for my experience ryte? hahaha

And also.. It is good to contribute to the country.. because the findings will be used and recorded on Our National Statistics.. and the findings can also be used to further improve our economic development.. ryte?

I am truly honored to be selected and be a part of the government's project!!

So Excited About it..

Today The 10 of us attended a house numbering - training session at

Tutong District’s Office..
Time: 9.00 – 12.00 & 1.30 – 3.30
The 2nd training session will be held tomorrow.. same place same time..

about ethics in speaking with the head of household.

The house numbering is only the first part of the survey.. and will start on this Saturday

5th April to 14th April.. that’s right.. only Each of us only have 10 days to number 200 houses.. (depends on the given area). I hope the residents in the area that i was assigned to will give me a full cooperation in conducting this survey.

The second part of the survey will be interviewing selected households for a more precise data.. Which will be starting from

7th June to 16th June..

So anywayz..
Emul, Ejat, Adek and Me
were hanging out last night
at WYWY Tutong..

During the course of our menu..
I got a phone call from home saying that
My area (an Ejat’s as well) were having a
TOTAL BLACKOUT..
So we decided to Wait for a while..

Before I continue on this story u should know that..
Ejat went to WYWY on her own..
Emul on the other hand parked her car at my home and tagged along with me to pick Adek up..

So back to my story.. When we were just about to get home from WYWY..
I just realised that one of the tyres on my car was missing its rim cap..

Suddenly the 3 of us Adek, Emul and Me got epiphany..
We just realised that on our way from Adek’s House to WYWY, along the highway, we heard something metal-ish falling off.. but we ignored it at the time..

So Ejat offered to help me to find it.. On our way back from Adek’s…
Emul, Ejat (who was driving at the time) and Me searched the rim along the stables junctions along the highway.. I Was praying for us to find it.. Suddenly Ejat and Emul saw a rim cap lying near the stable.. But since ejat was going so fast we had to u-turned back to the scene.. hahaha

She parked on the high way on the left side and went out with me to the other side of the road to search for rim cap that we saw.. FYI the highway was dark and it was a very cold evening.. Turns out.. It was not A VOLVO rim cap.. it’s was just some car’s.. DAMN!!
Haha

So we decided to search for it again.. so we drove around slow.. This time the three of us spotted a shiny metal thing lying near the drainage between two-way stables.. haha This time Emul decided to come out and help me to acquire it..

Just as Emul and I were about to come out from my car.. A swiftly stopped infront of us..
Emul and Ejat were so scared.. It was not because the car stopped right infront of us.. It was more due to the fact that the car is parked in the middle of the road..


An old guy around his 50’s came from the car.. And he was drunk..
“Knapa kamu ane?” he asked
I was like.. “Nada apa apa… OK ok Sja”
“Oooo.. aku ne branti salnya ada kerita belakang ku td..”

And we were like.. huh? Apakan~? Mabuk x banar org tua ane..

The the guy went back to his car.. he was so drunk that he almost masuk arh passenger seat dibelakan tepulang.. sendangkan ia sorang drive.. hahah

Plus when we went to the place where we saw the rim cap.. it was not mine..
It was somebody else’s.. hahaha

Hahah.. The nyte was fun and adventurous for us.. I think next time when we passed by a road where there’s rim cap lying around..
we’re gonna stop and collect it as a hobby.. whhahahaa
